Voor het ontwerpen van juwelen vind ik het belangrijk om 3 dimensionaal te werken. Net zoals het lichaam een 3 dimensionale vorm is, zijn sieraden dat ook. Het object kan van alle kanten bekeken worden. Ik combineer verschillende materialen en daarbij verleg ik mijn grenzen.

I believe that jewellery have to ben worn, and it doesn't have to be in a conventional way. Jewels are a form of applied art. It is a form that tells a story and carries a message.

With this jewel, especially the connection from the head and shoulders to the body is important. It radiates proudness. Strength. Personality. With this jewel, you connect the body and the mind.

Jewellery made of Perfume caps

Necklace J'Adore

The inspiration for this jewel originated from the perfume caps of J'Adore. Together, they create a rhythm. The rhythm develops itself into a circle. I wanted to disturb the rhythm without breaking it. I accomplished this by adding another element. The plexiglas icebergs are an interesting twist to the conventional rhythm.
